Dear Future Single Mom College Graduate:

Nine years ago I made the choice to return to college after 10 years. I was working in a mediocre job with mediocre pay. The turning point came after I had my son. I was scared to death of ending up on welfare or struggling from paycheck to paycheck for the rest of my life, so I knew I had to do something different.

I moved to a new city and, after getting my bearings, I applied for college. I had been through the process 10 years earlier so it wasn’t too difficult to get enrolled. This time around I had a good network of support within the school and a bit of insider information.

My brother-in-law was the financial aid director and I used to be an employee with the college I attended. With this advantage I was able to learn more than the average person about how to get into school and get the money I needed to stay in school.

Unfortunately I did not get a full scholarship to college. Like millions of other people, I got more student loans than grants. I did a shallow search of grants and scholarships so I missed out on so much money. There was no book out there to guide me through the process. If I could do it over, I would do research more, ask more questions, and get the free money that was available.

The difference about being in college this time was I had two young children. It would be a challenge, but in time I would be able to balance things nicely. I worked part-time, took a full class load, and took care of my children. I was on top of my classes and graduated Cum Laude.

This book is not exclusively about how I navigated through school and learned how to juggle everything. It’s about where to find grants, what grants are available for single moms, and how to get through college as a single mom, with as little stress as possible.

The Single Mom Grant Guide is the first of its kind resource that uncovers the hidden and often illusive sources for college money. Here is a peek into what this book contains:

The information in this guide took years to research and hours to compile. It is born of my own experience and I am happy to share it with you. It answers most of the questions I’ve encountered as a single mom motivator.

The information on the internet is often sketchy and frustrating. It barely touched the surface of what’s truly available and too often what you read does not actually tell you where to find grants.

You see from the table of contents that this guide contains actual names, address, numbers, email addresses and links to grant and scholarship sources for single moms.

What most don’t realize is it is not enough to search for single mom grants. You also have to search other terms to find the answers you are seeking. Those search terms are in the guide. So you not only get actual contacts but you will learn how to search for even more sources of grants and scholarships based on your individual needs.

Initially I planned to sell this guide for $57. The information in this book is worth that and more, but I understand it’s not always possible to shell out that kind of money on an eBook. So I decided to cut the price down to $37

Even if you are a single mom already in college you can benefit from the information in this guide. There may be money you are eligible for especially if you are planning to get an advanced degree.
